He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Durgapur in 1982, studied LLB in 2006,
and participated in PLAM (Program in Leading & Managing) organized by IIM Calcutta as part of his academic career.
He began his professional career as a project engineer with BST Engineering Services.
In various roles, he worked on projects including India’s 1st thermal power plant of Tata Electric Company at
Trombay, NTPC/ VSTPP, Renusagar Power Company, GHCL, and others.
He joined Mewar Polytex Group in the year 2009. He currently serves on the position of Director and has been
instrumental in setting up manufacturing facilities of non-woven apparels. He also looks after the geotextile segment
of the group’s manufacturing capabilities.
